Purchase Tickets Now for the Oyster Roast Fundraiser for FODAC on Saturday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, November 4 is the Sixth Annual Georgia Smoke Oyster Roast. Last year you helped us raise $4,525 for FODAC, and we’re hoping to do more this year.

Purchase tickets and join us for a fun evening as we roast and serve a boatload of oysters delivered fresh from the gulf and east coast.

This year we are also serving lobsters cooked-to-order for an additional $25 as an optional ticket upgrade.

Kids eat free. $5–10 cash donation per child suggested.

We will also be serving authentic gumbo and roasted chicken for non-oyster connoisseurs. BYOB and BYOOK (bring your own oyster knife; though we will have extras to share).

The event is rain or shine and will be held in the Briarcliff Woods Beach Club field behind the tennis courts by the fire pit next to Sagamore Hills Elementary School.

All proceeds will be donated to FODAC: FODAC’s mission is to provide durable medical equipment (DME) such as wheelchairs and hospital beds at little or no cost to adults and children with injuries and disabilities.

Georgia Smoke was easy to work with for my wedding reception bbq. They worked with me to provide a custom menu including fresh oysters, a hog, pulled pork, brisket and many sides! Additionally, they were able to work with the event covid requirements. The day of the event, the food was prompt, beautifully displayed, and everyone kept complementing the food and service both during and after the event. At the end of the night, the leftover food was neatly packaged and labeled for easy transport back to my freezer. Thank you Georgia Smoke for a delicious dinner!

John and Georgia Smoke were absolutely amazing to work with. They catered an outdoor, intimate birthday party for our Mom's 60th and it was PERFECT! John Lenz of Georgia Smoke provided a fantastic meal for my family reunion. We had 100 members of our family come in town from all over for a weekend of events, kicked off by a huge meal. For my 50th birthday party I wanted to have an old fashioned pig roast and invite a lot of people. So my husband and I contacted Georgia Smoke BBQ and they delivered just what I had in mind. They smoked a pig which was laid out for people to pick. It made for a great conversation starter and everyone raved about the pork and all the sides. We had smoked brisket and salmon too and everyone loved these as well as all the sides. Everything was on time and was served appropriately, just right for an outdoor summer party. It was fun!
